Copenhagen to Oslo – Day 4
Due to the sparsely of settlements along the route today, stops were few and far between – but it didn’t matter because for once the sun was shining!
The ‘bumpiest’ day of the whole trip – you can see from the profile this wasn’t the day for those who like flat routes. That said, the views have been breathtaking, as has the quality of some of the architecture along the way…. especially the small details that the Swedes are so good at.
Finally rolled in to small coastal town of Stromstad, just south of the Norwegian border, to find our overnight accommodation the opposite end of the scale from yesterday… Sweden’s largest spa resort! Aside from using the facilities, I managed to get a good look at some nearby housing – so the day has nearly qualified as a ‘Study Trip’.
A very early start tomorrow for the final 95 mile push on in to Norway and our end goal – Oslo.
