Farnborough Business Park Expansion

Expansion of Farnborough Business Park, a mixed-use business environment adjacent to Farnborough Airport, is nearing completion.

The park was developed on a disused Royal Aircraft establishment. The skeletal frame of a listed pre-first-world-war airship hangar, 1 of only 3 surviving in the UK, was re-erected on the site. This structure forms the centerpiece of the grounds, setting a strong axis and grid for the expansion proposals.

P-IE’s landscape proposals bridge the transition from the existing site’s rigid geometry to the expansion zone’s naturalised boundaries. The scheme creates a progression from formal to informal, relating to differing character areas across the park.

Adjacent works surrounding the central hub will soon be finished, providing a central amenity for users of the entire park.
