Gold Medal and Best Summer Garden Award at RHS Tatton Flower Show

Planiteer Caroline Lord has recently snatched up both a Gold Medal and Best Summer Garden Award at the RHS Tatton Flower Show.

The garden ‘Industrial Transitions’ was inspired by Manchester’s prominence during the Industrial Revolution and its modern transformation.

A reclaimed diesel tank and corten steel rill formed a contemporary water feature, representative of the factories and canals of Manchester, whilst the city’s rail connections and docks were expressed in the form of the pathway, grill and pond. Planting tones were warm to reflect the rustic tones of the steel.
