Great Northern Square Consultation

Emerging design proposals for Great Northern Square, Great Northern Warehouse and Deansgate Terrace are being shared with the public at an exhibition on Thursday 10th August, or Thursday 24th August 3pm – 8pm on the ground floor of the Great Northern Warehouse.

The exhibition explains the first phase of Trilogy and Peterson Group’s redevelopment plans as part of a wider vision to create a new urban quarter that reflects Manchester standing as a global city and celebrates its built heritage. The aim is to create a place that embodies the essence of Great Northern’s name; it is be the best in the north.

Trilogy and Peterson Group engaged a number of the city’s renowned strategic thinkers, including Peter Saville, Nick Johnson and Will Alsop. The design team drawn together to develop principles of the site’s Strategic Regeneration Framework includes: Lead Architect, SimpsonHaugh & Partners; Masterplan Architect, All Design; Landscape Architect, Planit-IE; Interior Architect, Johnson Naylor; Heritage Consultant, Heritage Architecture; Project managers, 2110 Consult; Planning Consultants, Deloitte; Structural Engineers, Curtins; Service Engineers, WSP; and, Fire Engineers, Olsson Fire.
