As one of the 3 founders of Planit, which celebrated 25 years as a practice in 2023, I have had the privilege and opportunity to work on an extensive range of projects across the UK, with some of the most interesting, influential and enlightened clients, architects, engineers, ecologists, artists and engagement specialists to name but a few. As well as taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the business over its current 5 studio’s and 95 employees, I have also been responsible for steering our core purpose and values, leading our quest to B Corp certification in 2020 and transition to Employee Ownership in 2022.

Having led a number of high-profile projects in Manchester, London and Leeds I have more recently turned my attention back to the land with a particular focus on Regenerative practice and Agroecology from our Studio in Gloucestershire. Our approach to projects must be driven through a deeper sense of purpose as our responsibility to people and planet has never been more acute than it is today. We have the opportunity to be a significant part of the change and must plan for multiple generations ahead, to ensure that we can begin to repair the social and environmental destruction around us. I firmly believe that our best and most important work is ahead of us.
