I joined Planit in 2002 after working a number of years within both public and private practices. Having grown up in the countryside, it was a logical career choice for me to combine a love of the natural world and outdoor spaces with an interest in art and design.

My career in Landscape Architecture has enabled me to create interesting, creative and challenging environments both within rural settings and urban areas. I am equally at home designing a country park as a new urban square. I place great emphasis on designing environments that balance the heritage and spirit of place with the individual opportunities each project presents. I firmly believe that the design approach should be based upon each scheme’s individual needs and merits.

I am a Director responsible for the development of the design teams in our Liverpool and Altrincham studios whilst overseeing the landscape teams within the wider practice. I am the director lead for several high profile projects across the country.
