As a Director and Head of Design, I play a role in all design-related projects that come into the studio, guiding the design process throughout our commissions from inception through to completion on site.

I have considerable experience of leading campus, town and city-wide public realm projects, with a proven track record of delivering high quality urban realm schemes. This is achieved by continually challenging the team and Client to raise design aspirations and quality, whilst addressing the rigorous requirements of delivering complex public realm and infrastructure projects. I am especially adept at working closely with artists and architectural partners – from small studios to Stirling Prize winners.

My work on Poynton Town Centre helped re-define thinking around ‘rebalanced streetscapes’, which has been further refined by projects such as Fishergate in Preston and Altrincham Town Centre. My wealth of knowledge and experience across these and numerous other town and cityscape projects has been recognised through appointment as a High Street Task Force Expert.
