Virtual Planit unveils a brand new look!

News
Following Planit’s new mission and look late last year, Virtual Planit unveils a complementary brand design.

Richard Line, Founder and Director of Virtual Planit, explains why it was the right time to launch a new look for his leading visualisation team.

As part of the Planit family, we’ve been visualising urban and rural place designs for over 25 years. We’re as excited today as we were when we created our first project commissioned by Ask Developments for Deansgate Locks - built on my Power Mac G4 from our tiny loft studio in Frodsham. Drawing on our background in landscape architecture and urban design, we imagine how a place lives and critically how it serves a community - to have a lasting positive impact on the world.

There is never a dull day when you build realities that don’t yet exist. It started with commercial buildings, moved on to residential schemes, streetscapes, then sports stadiums, and larger scale town and city centre transformations.  In a changing world, we’re proud of our recent work creating sustainable ways to travel; depicting how new and regenerated city parks will flourish; and how science parks of the future will work symbiotically with nature.  Working inextricably with Planit’s services, we’re committed to designing for all life to thrive in balance.

We’re used to launching places for our clients, but today we’re excited to unveil our own new look.   Created by the brand design team and friends at Peter&Paul, the new VP logo neatly folds together our V – for Virtual and P – for Planit, and complements the new Planit creative we unveiled last year.

We are on a journey towards regenerative practice and excited about bringing virtual designs of the future to life.  We’d love to know what you think of the new look!

NewsLike many small businesses, it all began around the kitchen table (if it it’s not there, it’s down the pub!). We had settled on a name – nobody can remember who takes the credit – Planit. We called ourselves ‘Environmental Development Consultants’ rather than Landscape Architects, and so we started life as Planit EDC.
