I’m feeling so grateful for an incredible year in practice with Planit before returning to The University of Sheffield for my Masters in Landscape Architecture.

Highlights this year included:
- Working on Embassy Village – a social value project focussing on homeless rehabilitation in Manchester.
- Seeing my drawings come to life in Altrincham’s Public Realm, including rain gardens that manage flooding and make streets safer for pedestrians.
- Designing a Japanese Zen Garden for a private home where I learnt the art of rock placement and diminishing perspective.
- Exploring regenerative practice and building with nature workshops at Camp Standish.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This year has reminded me why I love landscape architecture: creating places that bring social value, environmental resilience, and quality design - today and for the future.
Thank you to everyone at Planit for your guidance and support. I am excited to carry these things I’ve learnt into my Masters and beyond!
